PRESENTATION INVENTORY OF GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS

Greenhouse gases are recognized as the major factors of climate change on earth. The first step to counter its harmful effects on the environment and human beings is to know the scope, territory by territory, and begin to implement appropriate countermeasures. Province of Genoa has set itself the goal of making the picture of the situation and has prepared an inventory of greenhouse gas emissions of its territory, with a view to achieving the Kyoto targets. On April 13, this document will be presented to the public, marking a new impetus to the policy of containment of greenhouse gases in our province.

  • How much carbon dioxide producing activities of the province?
